<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6172 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPOINTING MICHAEL KAMPA TO THE <br />SERGEANT <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Five applications were received for the position of Police Sergeant, <br />and went through a scored promotion process approved the Mounds View Police Civil <br />Service Commission, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the police civil service commission certified the top three candidates. <br />The top candidate is Michael Kampa and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has met with Mr. Kampa and recommends he be <br />appointed to the position of Police Sergeant. <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby appoint Michael Kampa to the position of Police Sergeant at the step 3 rate <br />of pay as stipulated in the Sergeants Labor Contract for the position, with progression to <br />step 4 after 6 months, and step 5 after 18 months from his appointment date <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 26th day of January 2004. <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />(ATTEST) <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk/Administrator <br />(SEAL)
