Mounds View City Council March 8, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br /> 1 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the City is part of a multi-City group that subscribes to 2 <br />the service that helps with human resource issues, hiring and labor negotiations. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Stigney asked for information on the services they provide to the City. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Council Member Stigney asked what the card scanner was for. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Finance Director Hansen explained that it is a piece of equipment attached to the cash register 9 <br />system out at the golf course for scanning information into the cash register. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Council Member Stigney asked for further information on the roof repair of $626.00. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated that two weeks ago there was a leak in the Community Center 14 <br />roof over the area where the Chamber of Commerce is. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Quick asked if the roof is under warranty. 17 <br /> 18 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that Staff is looking into it. 19 <br /> 20 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve Just and Correct Claims as Presented. 21 <br /> 22 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 23 <br /> 24 <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA 25 <br /> 26 <br />A. Licenses for Approval 27 <br />B. Approval to Amend Resolution 6173 for the Purchase of Four Automatic 28 <br />External Defibrillators (AED’s) 29 <br /> 30 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. To Approve the Consent Agenda as Presented. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />9. COUNCIL BUSINESS 35 <br /> 36 <br /> A. Silver Lake Woods Condominiums – Dedication of Private Streets 37 <br /> 38 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated the issue of dedicating the streets within Silver Lake Woods 39 <br />Condominiums has been discussed for several years and the last time was on May 6, 2002 at a 40 <br />work session. At that time, Staff presented a proposed private street maintenance policy that 41 <br />dictates how streets are to be dedicated to the City. Council agreed with the policy but did not 42 <br />adopt it and with the 2003 street improvement project being ordered there is the opportunity to 43 <br />upgrade the streets within Silver Lake Woods so that they can then be transferred to the City. 44 <br /> 45
