Mounds View City Council March 8, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 20 <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked whether Council wanted SEH at the meeting. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Mayor Linke indicated he would like the meeting to be just Staff and Council. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Stigney asked if the graphs project the reduction in local government aid. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated that LGA does not affect this budget. The tax that appears on 7 <br />the page is ½ of the franchise fee that the City has been putting into the street improvement fund. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Council Member Gunn commented that there was no revenue listed under Rice Creek for 2004 10 <br />and storm water expenditures went way up for 2004. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated that in 2003 there was a grant received for the H2 project and 13 <br />in 2004 and beyond the City does not anticipate getting any money from Rice Creek. General 14 <br />government building went to $1,000,000 if all the phases of City Hall are done. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated that capital improvement plans contain all capital projects that 17 <br />can be thought of and then the list is pared back from there. 18 <br /> 19 <br /> (3) Surplus Equipment Policy 20 <br /> 21 <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked Council to provide comments to him on the surplus equipment 22 <br />policy and he will incorporate them into the next report. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Council Member Marty asked Staff to contact New Brighton to see if they would work with the 25 <br />City on the stoplight possibility on County Road H and Silver Lake Road because the City may 26 <br />get a better response with two communities working on it. 27 <br /> 28 <br /> (4) Community Survey Update 29 <br /> 30 <br />This was moved to the next meeting agenda due to time. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> C.
