Ordinance 642 <br /> Page 4 <br /> • d Driveway Widths: The width of the driveway servicing one dwelling unit shall not <br /> exceed the width of that dwelling unit's garage. When located side-by-side. driveways <br /> shall maintain a minimum four-foot 09 separation unless the affected property owners <br /> have,filed a right of way and maintenance agreement with Ramsey County. according to <br /> the provisions of Section 1121.15, Subd 2 of this Title pertaining to.joint driveways. <br /> e. Curb Cut Width: The width of a curb cut servicing one dwelling unit shall not exceed <br /> twenty feet(209. In the event of a common or joint driveway servicing both units, the <br /> width of the curb cut shall not exceed thirty-six feet(369. <br /> SECTION 3. Title 1100, Chapter 1121 of the Mounds View Municipal Code pertaining to off <br /> street parking requirements shall be amended by the addition of the italicized and double- <br /> underlined language and the deletion of the stricketr through language in Section 1121.09, to read <br /> as follows: <br /> 1121.09: STALL,AISLE AND DRIVEWAY DESIGN: <br /> Subd. 1. Parking Space Size: Each parking space shall not be less than nine feet (9')wide and <br /> • eighteen feet (18') in length exclusive of access aisles, and each space shall be served <br /> adequately by access aisles. <br /> Subd. 2. Within Structures: The off-street parking requirements may be furnished by providing <br /> a space so designed within the principal building or one attached thereto; however, unless <br /> provisions are made, no building permit shall be issued to convert said space into a <br /> dwelling unit or living area until other adequate provisions are made to comply with the <br /> required off-street parking provisions of this Title. <br /> Subd, 3. Circulation: Except in the case of single-family, two-family and townhouse dwellings, <br /> parking areas shall be designed so that circulation between parking bays or ai-sles occurs <br /> within the designated parking lot and does not depend upon a public street or alley. <br /> Except in the case of single-family, two-family and townhouse dwellings, parking area <br /> design which requires backing into the public street is prohibited. <br /> Subd. 4. Dimensions: <br /> a. In the R-1 zoning district, the combined width for drivew. and attached.arkin• <br /> areas shall not exceed thirty-five feet(359. or the width of the garage plus an additional <br /> twelve feet(129. whichever is greater. <br /> • h. Except in the case of single-family, two-family and townhouse dwellings, parking <br /> areas and their aisles shall be developed in compliance with the following standards: <br />
