<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 6278 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF A TRAINING CONTRACT WITH <br />CENTURY COLLEGE FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 2004 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2005 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Century College has been providing the Mounds View Police <br />Department with POST certified law enforcement training since 1994; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The current contract for training expires June 30, 2004; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Century College usually offers training courses more than once <br />during the training year; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Century College charges $295.00 per reserved training slot for six <br />or more reserved slots; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the police department has found that reserving seven training slots <br />is usually sufficient to address the POST mandated training needs of the department; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of <br />Mounds View approves the renewal of a law enforcement training contract from <br />September 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005 with Century College at a total cost of <br />$2065.00 for that contract period. <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of June, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
