Resolution 6258 Approving the Private Street Maintenance Policy <br /> <br />Council Member Stigney asked where the actual draft copy of the streets policy was. <br /> <br />Council Member Marty stated it was after the time line with the dates. <br /> <br />Council Member Stigney asked if this would be attached to the resolution or if it was going to be <br />published elsewhere. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Lee stated it would be put into the city’s policy and procedures book, <br />which was available for public inspection. <br /> <br />Council Member Marty stated the second whereas in the resolution needed to be capitalized. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND. MARTY/QUICK. To waive the reading and approve Resolution 6258 <br />Approving the Private Street Maintenance Policy. <br /> <br /> Ayes -5 Nays-0 Motion carried <br /> <br />10. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. 7:05 PM. Public Hearing. First reading and Introduction of Ordinance 738, <br />an Ordinance Assigning a Name to that Part of County Road 10 passing <br />through Mounds View. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Ericson stated that the Council had directed staff to draft an <br />Ordinance assigning a name to that part of Highway 10 that drives through the city of Mounds <br />View to eliminate the confusion that exists. He stated that notice had been sent to property <br />owners and business owners. He stated the feedback they had received thus far indicated a <br />preference for Mounds View Boulevard. Mounds View Parkway was another name the City <br />Council had been considering. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Ericson stated the city of Blaine had asked that a more <br />generic name be considered that could be applied to the cities of Blaine and Spring Lake Park. <br />Blaine had requested that the three cities have a meeting to discuss a name. <br /> <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Jennifer Klossen, Marketing Director for Northtown Mall, stated she supported the cities getting <br />together to come up with a universal name to eliminate confusion. <br />
