Fire Board Member – Fire Chief Nyle Zikmund informed me that Michele <br />Sandbeck will be resigning as the community representative to the Fire Board <br />due her moving from Mounds View this fall. Advertising for a replacement has <br />begun. If anyone has any potential candidates, please let me know or contact <br />Des Crane. <br />Clear Channel Billboards – Staff met with representatives of Clear Channel and <br />reviewed the lease agreement provisions. Clear Channel agrees with the lease <br />provisions however, asked for some consideration for extending the lease or <br />possibly a lump-sum buy-out. Both parties need a further review of the numbers <br />to determine the feasibility of either option. They have only the Rice Creek Water <br />Shed District permit to obtain prior to construction. Ordering steel for the signs <br />will take 6-8 weeks. Expect construction about mid September. <br />County Commissioners are being asked to attend a meeting this fall (i.e., <br />November), once the traffic study for the Silver Lake Road and County Road H <br />intersection is complete. The school crossing would also be discussed at this <br />time. <br />Hidden Hollow Land Closing – The land closing occurred to transfer the land for <br />the Hidden Hollow development from the City to Procraft, Inc. Significant land <br />clearance of the property has begun. <br />I35W City Manager/Administrator’s Meeting – The group discussed the proposed <br />withdrawal of Roseville from the I35W Coalition. Mounds View will need to <br />consider the viability of the group without Roseville when considering <br />membership for 2005. <br />800 MGz Project – City Staff met with County 800 MGz project manager, Paul <br />Kirkwold, to discuss the specific budget impacts and implementation of the 800 <br />MGz radio system in Mounds View in 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
