To waive the reading and approve Resolution No. 6304, 5 Authorizing the Installation of Concrete Curb along the North Side of County Road H. 6 7 Ayes-4 Nays –0 Motion carried. 8 9 Dan Hall, owner of the Mermaid, asked if he could address the Council. He stated he wished to 10 receive a letter from City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich explaining to him the situation of putting 11 off the re-writing of the contract, which was requested by the City of Mounds View, not by him. 12 He stated he knows the City Council does not want the Mermaid there, and that the handwriting 13 is on the wall. 14 15 Mr. Hall expressed his strong dissatisfaction with his dealings with the City of Mounds View, 16 and he wants his money back. He stated his dissatisfaction with having a business located in 17 Mounds View. 18 19 Mayor Linke asked City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich to pull up the contract and go to the part 20 where it says the City has the right to RFP if they choose. 21 22 Mr. Hall began to shout, and Mayor Linke asked him to leave. 23 24 11. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25 26 A. City Council Minutes June 28, 2004. 27 28 Council Member Marty made a correction to page 5, line 30, to add the words “more than” 29 before $23,000 to $24,000. 30 31 MOTION/SECOND. Marty/Stigney. To approve the June 28, 2004 City Council Minutes as 32 amended. 33 34 Ayes-4 Nays-0 Motion carried. 35 36 12. REPORTS 37 38 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 39 40 Council Member Gunn stated they were looking for participants to run in the Fun Run during the 41 Festival in the Park on August 22nd. 42 43 Council Member Marty stated the Festival in the Park Golf Tournament is being held on August 44 14th, and that registrations are available at the Bridges Golf Course. 45
