To approve Resolution 6330, Approving Application to 8 <br />conduct Excluded Bingo at the Festival in the park of Mounds View for the 2004 Festival in the 9 <br />Park Event. 10 <br /> 11 <br /> Ayes -5 Nayes-0 Motion carried. 12 <br /> 13 <br />E. Cancel a Public Hearing for August 23, 2004 at 7:05pm for a Second Reading of 14 <br />Ordinance 742, Amending Section 2.06 (Mayor’s Powers and Duties), Section 15 <br />4.05 (Vacancy of Municipal Elected Office), and Section 9.01 (Acquisition of 16 <br />Property) of the City Charter. 17 <br /> 18 <br />F. Cancel a Public Hearing for August 23, 2004, at 7:10pm for the Second Reading 19 <br />of Ordinance 743, Amending Chapter 5 of the City Charter and reschedule the 20 <br />Public Hearing for September 13, 2004 at 7:05pm. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Stigney asked why there is this canceling since further down in the agenda there 23 <br />is a public hearing being set. 24 <br /> 25 <br />City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated they were cancelled because the City Attorney had 26 <br />questions on the Charter, and he felt he should be at the Council meeting for the first reading, so 27 <br />both sections were pushed back until September 13th so the Council could have their questions 28 <br />answered. 29 <br /> 30 <br />MOTION/SECOND.
