RESOLUTION NO. 6334 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE USE OF STRAIGHT TIME PAY FOR THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS AND PARKS SUPERVISORS TO BE USED FOR THE SANITARY <br />SEWER ILLICIT CONNECTION INSPECTION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Sanitary Sewer Illicit Connection Inspection Program was <br />established on June 7, 2004 at a City Council work Session; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City’s Storm Water Ordinance was revised with the first <br />reading on June14, 2004 and the second reading and subsequent adoption on <br />June 28, 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adopted 2004 budget (Account No. 730-4823-3030) has <br />$46,500 under Wastewater Infrastructure Fund for professional services <br />associated with this Sanitary Sewer Illicit Connection Inspection Program, and it <br />was planned that this amount would be used to cover any and all overtime paid <br />to City employees associated with this inspection program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works and Parks Supervisors have volunteered to <br />assist with this project, in that they are willing to work a straight hourly rate (no <br />overtime); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the benefits the City receives as a result of this proposal <br />include: Cost savings, Presence of a City Supervisor, and increased manpower. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The use of straight time, hourly pay for the Public Works and Parks <br />Supervisors to be used for the Sanitary Sewer Illicit Connection <br />Inspection Program is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />2.
