RESOLUTION NO. 6335 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE HIDDEN HOLLOW STREET AND UTILITY INSTALLATION PROJECT AND THE MOUNDS VIEW MANUFACTURED HOME COMMUNITY SECOND ACCESS PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6293 adopted by the City Council on June 28, 2004 which established a bid date of July 29, 2004 and pursuant to Resolution No. 6311 adopted by the City Council on July 26, 2004 which cancelled the July 29th bid date and established an August 19th bid date sealed bids were received and tabulated on August 19, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. for the Hidden Hollow Street and Utility Installation Project and the Mounds View Manufactured Home Community Second Access Project; and WHEREAS, the low responsive bid was received from Redstone Construction Company Incorporated with a Base Bid $421,380.48 for the Hidden Hollow Street and Utility Installation Project and the Mounds View Manufactured Home Community Second Access Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: That the Base Bid of Redstone Construction Company Incorporated in the amount of $421,380.48 for the Hidden Hollow Street and Utility Installation Project and the Mounds View Manufactured Home Community Second Access Project is the lowest responsive bid. 2. That a contract to perform said work is awarded to Redstone Construction Company Incorporated and that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder. 3. The Public Works Department is authorized and directed to return the deposit made for said bids, except the deposit of the successful bidder, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
