<br />ORDINANCE NO. 742 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CHARTER <br />BY AMENDING SECTION 2.06, SUBDIVISION 1 OF THE CITY CHARTER <br /> <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View, pursuant to the <br />recommendation of the City of Mounds View Charter Commission, has hereby <br />determined that Section 2.06 subd. 1, of the City Charter be amended by the addition of <br />the bold and double-underlined language and by the deletion of the bold and <br />stricken language as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2.06. The Mayor's Power and Duties. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. The Mayor shall preside at meetings of the Council and shall <br />have a vote as a member. The Mayor shall be recognized as head of the City <br />Government for all ceremonial purposes, by the courts for the purpose of serving civil <br />process, and by the Governor for purposes of martial law. , but Other than for the <br />purposes specifically stated in this paragraph, as an individual, the Mayor shall <br />have no administrative duties authority. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
