To deny Clear Channel Request to Extend Lease Agreement. 11 12 Council Member Gunn asked if they would even be staying for 40 years. 13 14 Council Member Marty stated he didn’t want the billboard in the first place, but they had been 15 trying to find funding to pay for the golf course. He stated the lease was initially 15 years, and it 16 had a sunset clause. 17 18 Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. 19 20 City Clerk/City Administrator Ulrich stated that at the next Work Session a draft letter to the 21 billboard company will be discussed. 22 23 City Clerk/City Administrator Ulrich stated that on Thursday, September 30th, at 7:30 p.m. there 24 would be a state legislative candidates forum at the City Council Chambers, and everyone is 25 invited to attend, and that it would be televised. 26 27 B.
