City Council Goal Setting Retreat: Saturday, February 28, 2009 <br /> The City Council and City Department Heads will participate in their annual goal setting <br /> retreat on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at Random Park. Staff will provide the EDA/Council <br /> with the EDC's 2009 Priorities at the Feb. 23, 2009 EDA meeting. <br /> D. 5th Annual Town Hall Meeting: Saturday, April 25, 2009 <br /> All Mounds View residents are encouraged to attend the 5th Annual Town Hall Meeting <br /> on Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 9am to noon at the Mounds View Commuity Center. <br /> The Town Hall meeting offers the following activities and a formal presentation by the <br /> Mayor and Clerk Administrator at 10:00am: <br /> • Historical Displays <br /> • City Vehicle Displays <br /> • City Department Exhibits <br /> • Kids' Activities <br /> E. Mounds View Branding Proiect Update <br /> Below is a timeline of upcoming branding activities: <br /> • • February 23, 2009 EDA meeting - The staff from Risdall will present the EDA with <br /> their Discovery Findings Report (summary of all research) and Mounds View's <br /> Preliminary Brand Strategy. Although the surveys, interviews and research are the <br /> basis for developing the brand strategy, the EDA/Council needs to accept Risdall's <br /> Discovery Findings and provide input on the Preliminary Brand Strategy before the <br /> project moves forward. <br /> • February 28, 2009 City Council Goal Setting Retreat - The staff from Risdall hopes <br /> that the Council will further discuss the Preliminary Brand Strategy at the retreat. <br /> • March 9, 2009 EDA meeting - The staff from Risdall will present the EDC and <br /> EDA/Council with Mounds View's final Brand Strategy and new logo/tagline. <br /> • March/April 2009 - Risdall Marketing Group will develop a marketing/public <br /> communications plan for the City. The Brand Strategy will drive the <br /> marketing/public communications plan. <br /> • April 25, 2009 Town Hall Meeting - The Brand Strategy, new logo/tagline will be <br /> unveiled to the public. <br /> • <br />
