Mounds View Business News March 2011 Mounds View business owners are invited to attend informal Mounds View Business Council meetings the second Wednesday of each month. The next meeting is Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 7:30am at the Mounds View Com- munity Center. WIN Insurance Mounds View Business Council The Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce’s annual Excel- lence in Business Gala was held on March 11, 2011. About 200 area business reps and supporters attended the event held at the Great Hall in St. Anthony, MN. The funds raised at the annual gala will benefit local businesses in the northern Twin Cities area. Angie’s List Super Service Award winners have met strict eligibility requirements including earning a minimum number of reports, and exemplary rating from their customers and abiding by Angie’s List operational guidelines. Jason Studer, owner of 35W Auto Repair located at 35W and County Road H, wants to caution fellow business owners and representatives about recent vandalisms and thefts that occurred at his place of business. Over the last two months, damages and losses at his business totaled about $11,000. The Mounds View Police Depart- ment asks you to report any suspicious activity immediately by call- ing 9-1-1. Other Recent Crimes at Mounds View Businesses: 3/2/11-2100 Block of Program Ave: Officer responded to the report of a theft at a business in the 2100 block of Program Ave, where a carwash vacuum and coins were stolen. 3/4/11-2600 Block of County Rd I: Officers responded to an armed robbery in the 2600 block of County Road I. 3/8/11-2200 Block of County Rd 10: Theft from auto in parking lot.
