CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chair Torri Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:35am. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Members Present: Chair Torri Johnson and Commissioners Greg Belting, Jason <br />Helgemoe, Dan Larson and Gary Meehlhause <br /> <br />Member Absent: Vice Chair Jennifer Wagner-Harkonen and Commissioner Jim <br />Paron <br /> <br />Staff Present: City Administrator Jim Ericson and Economic Development <br />Specialist Heidi Steinmetz <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 16, 2011 AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Larson moved and Commissioner Belting seconded the <br />approval of the December 16, 2011 EDC agenda. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes, 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 18, 2011 EDC MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Helgemoe moved and Commissioner Meehlhause <br />seconded the approval of the November 18, 2011 minutes. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes, 0 Nays <br /> <br />5. EDC BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Review Potential Acquisition of 2832 County Road 10 <br />Economic Development Specialist Steinmetz provided the EDC with background information <br />about the “PAK” building and how the property has been included in a redevelopment area <br />since at least 2002, when URS created the City’s most recent County Road 10 <br />Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan. Ms. Steinmetz asked the EDC to discuss what <br />they envision for the site. <br /> <br />The EDC discussed that the property is worth land value only assuming the EDA would <br />demolish the building if the EDA acquired the property. <br />
