Below are the <br />EDC’s 2011 priorities (in order of importance) adopted by the EDC on January 21, 2011: <br /> <br />1) Development/redevelopment along the County Rd 10 corridor <br /> Potential name change for County Rd 10 <br /> Premium Stop Redevelopment Area <br /> Silver View Plaza <br /> Complete remaining trailway connections to businesses <br /> PAK building <br /> Select Senior Living <br /> Improve the aesthetics of properties in the County Rd 10 corridor <br /> Vacant BP gas station site <br /> Reconstruction of County Rd 10 <br />2) Monitor and assist with Citywide housing issues and projects <br />3) Implement an informal business retention program <br />4) Continue budgeting to implement the Mounds View Branding Project <br />5) Monitor development plans for the TCAAP site in Arden Hills <br />6) Monitor Mounds View properties in transition <br />7) Skyline Motel redevelopment <br />8) Support the implementation of the Citywide Street & Utility Improvement Program <br /> <br />Discussion <br />The EDC reviewed the status of their 2011 priorities during the November 18, 2011 EDC <br />meeting. The discussion prompted two ideas for 2012, which were to better promote the <br />services offered by the Housing Resource Center and to increase focus on improving the <br />City’s most blighted homes. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the EDC set its 2012 priorities.
