These status reports <br />might help the EDC prepare its 2013 priorities. <br /> <br />Create a plan for using the EDA’s unobligated Tax Increment Financing (TIF) within the <br />City of Mounds View <br />On April 20, 2012, the EDC created the following priority list for using the EDA’s unobligated <br />TIF: <br /> <br />1) Business Retention <br />a. Mustang Drive & Mustang Circle <br />b. Infrastructure for Businesses <br />c. Silver View Plaza <br /> <br />2) Promote New Business <br />a. Property Acquisition & Demolition <br /> <br />3) Vacant Housing <br /> <br />4) Complete County Road 10 Trail Way Segments <br /> <br />Development/redevelopment along the County Road 10 corridor <br />The EDC completed the following items regarding County Road 10 in 2012: <br /> <br />February 2012: The EDC reviewed the County Road 10 improvements that were included <br />in the City’s Five-Year Financial Plan. <br /> <br />March 2012: The EDC prioritized the following list of County Road 10 improvement ideas: <br /> <br />1) Mow (rough cut) medians & Right-of-Way approx. 6 times per season and trash cleanup <br />2) Plant trees along Right-of-Way <br />3) Property acquisition & demolition <br />4) Complete remaining trailway segments <br />5) Highway signs <br />6) Decorative banners with City logo for existing trailway light posts <br />7) Entrance monument signs <br /> <br />August 2012: The EDC reviewed the 2002 County Road 10 Redevelopment Plan and the <br />2006 Premium Stop Redevelopment Area Study. <br /> <br />December 2012: The EDC prioritized their list of ten County Road 10 redevelopment items <br />(as shown on page one of this report). <br /> <br />Monitor Mounds View commercial properties in transition <br />City staff continues to monitor available business sites for lease and for sale within the City of <br />Mounds View. Both lists were provided to the EDC during each regular EDC meeting in 2012. <br />
