Crossroad Pointe Redevelopment Project <br />Staff continues to contact developers informing them of the possibilities at the <br />Crossroad Pointe redevelopment site. No new updates at this time. <br />B. Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) Visits <br />Most of the local businesses have already been visited; there have been no new BR & <br />E visits since the last EDC meeting December 16, 2016. <br />C. Rice Creek Commons (TCAAP) Development Update <br />As winter has come, there has been no new construction news to report. Construction <br />will resume in the Spring of 2017. <br />D. Mounds View Project Updates <br />Website: The initial kick-off meeting and design phase could start as early as January <br />2017 and would take approximately 5-6 months for the design phase and around 15-17 <br />weeks in the best case scenario to launch the new website. <br />E. Mounds View Boulevard <br />On June 13, 2016 the Mounds View City Council passed Ordinance 918 renaming <br />County Road 10 to Mounds View Boulevard. The name change went into effect the end <br />of July. Businesses are encouraged to change their address to Mounds View Boulevard <br />as soon as they are able. Some of the new Mounds View Boulevard signage has been <br />installed. <br />F. North Metro Business Council Meeting <br />The next North Metro Business Council meeting will be held March 8, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. <br />at the Mermaid Event Center. The theme will be community policing and engagement. <br />Chief Nate Harder of Mounds View, the new Ramsey County Sheriff, and a member of <br />the Metro-Transit Police force will be in attendance to speak on current issues and how <br />they are addressing them.
