Crossroad Pointe Redevelopment Project <br />The City Council held a work session December 4 to discuss <br />the predevelopment agreement between the City and INH <br />Properties who is proposing to build an approximately 120-160 <br />unit market rate apartment building including both traditional and <br />destination retail. The consensus of the Council is to move <br />forward. The resolution for the predevelopment agreement will <br />be considered at the City Council’s January 8, 2018 meeting. <br /> <br />C. Rice Creek Commons (TCAAP) Development Update <br />Dewatering and motoring & testing of the water will continue and now building <br />construction is expected until possibly late 2018. <br /> <br />D. Mounds View Project Updates <br />Website: The initial kick-off meeting with REVIZE was conducted March 13, 2017. Staff <br />is making final updates. REVIZE expects to launch the new website sometime in the <br />beginning of 2018. <br /> <br />E. North Metro Business Council Meeting <br />The North Metro Business Council meeting will be held December 13, 2017 from 7:30- <br />9:00 a.m. at the Mermaid Event Center. The speaker will be from Ryden Auto who will <br />be speaking on the auto industry and trends impacting businesses and communities. <br />The next meeting will be held March 14, 2017. The topic and speaker is unknown at this <br />time. <br /> <br />F. MWF Developers <br />MWF Developers is looking to construct around 60 units <br />of workforce housing on two lots owned by Cynthia <br />Johnson, located at 2865 Mounds View Boulevard and <br />7980 Groveland Road and also two adjacent tax forfeiture <br />lots. MWF Developers has been awarded tax credits for <br />their project and they have indicated that they will be <br />asking for a Housing TIF. The Council will review the MWF project at its December 11, <br />2017 regular meeting including the preliminary plat and development review which <br />includes anything related to the construction, landscaping, building, etc. <br />
