He advised that the Economic Development Authority would hold the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Coughlin suggested that with the consent of the Council, they suspend the Council <br />Meeting and open the Economic Development Authority meeting. <br /> <br />City Attorney Long advised that they could recess the Council Meeting and reconvene as the <br />Economic Development Authority to take up the matter to consider the question of whether or <br />not they wish to schedule a public hearing without taking any further action at this time. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Quick. To Recess the City Council Meeting and Reconvene as the <br />Economic Development Authority. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Coughlin recessed the Council Meeting to the Economic Development Authority meeting <br />at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Following adjournment of the Economic Development Authority meeting, Mayor Coughlin <br />announced that the Council would now meet in closed executive session to discuss LELS Patrol <br />and Sergeant contracts negotiations. He thanked City Administrator Whiting for his years of <br />service with the City, and expressed his continued appreciation to staff and the Council for their <br />diligence and perseverance. <br /> <br />Mayor Coughlin adjourned the regular meeting to a closed executive session at 9:10 p.m. <br /> <br />L. Closed Session. <br />Review of LELS Patrol and Sergeant Contracts Negotiations. <br /> <br />11.
