Resolution No. 01-EDA-142, A Resolution Approving the Manufactured Home <br />Park Revitalization Program. <br /> <br />B. Resolution No. 01-EDA-143, A Resolution Approving Application to Ramsey <br />County for a Community Development Block Grant to Assist in Funding the <br />Manufactured Home Park Revitalization Program. <br /> <br />C. Resolution No. 01-EDA-144, A Resolution Approving the Appointment of the <br />2001 Economic Development Commission Elected Chairperson. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Thomas. To Approve Consent Agenda Items A, B, and C as <br />Presented. <br /> <br />Vice President Stigney inquired as to whether the revitalization program was going to require <br />double wide manufactured homes. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Parrish indicated that due to lot size they are planning on <br />new single wide models. <br /> <br />President Sonterre asked Economic Development Director Parrish to give a brief overview of the <br />Revitalization Program. <br /> <br />Economic Development Director Parrish explained a resident of the manufactured home park <br />applied and received a grant for improvements to the laundry area. The plan is to convert the <br />laundry area into a small community center and make general improvements to the infrastructure <br />of the facility. <br /> <br />Commissioner Marty asked Community Development Director Ericson if the park would be <br />doing any street work. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Ericson indicated the park is planning on replacing all <br />waterlines and asphalt in the park. This totals about one million dollars in street and utility work. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br />
