Consider Resolution 07-EDA-236, Amendments to the Housing Replacement 110 <br /> Program Guidelines and Requirements 111 <br /> 112 <br />Community Development Director Ericson explained and reviewed the proposed changes to the 113 <br />Housing Replacement Program. 114 <br /> 115 <br />Commissioner Mueller asked if there is a blighted home that becomes a problem, would the 116 <br />changes in this document hamper the ability of the City to acquire that property. 117 <br /> 118 <br />Director Ericson indicated it would not at all impact that. 119 <br /> 120 <br />Commissioner Flaherty said that the Planning Commission did a great job on this 121 <br />recommendation. 122 <br /> 123 <br />President Marty asked why tenant occupied buildings are not eligible. 124 <br /> 125 <br />Director Ericson explained that the City could end up in a relocation situation and have to pay for 126 <br />18 months of relocation assistance. 127 <br /> 128 <br />Director Ericson thanked Kennedy & Graven for the language assistance and help with drafting 129
