Resolution 15-EDA-286, Election and Appointing Officers to the Economic 5 <br />Development Authority (EDA) 6 <br /> 7 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the Economic Development Authority elect and 8 <br />appoint officers to the EDA. She reviewed the current President, Vice President, Treasurer and 9 <br />Secretary and recommended the EDA appoint officers for 2015. 10 <br /> 11 <br />President Flaherty would continue to serve as the EDA President. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Vice President Gunn was willing to continue serving as Vice President. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Commissioner Mueller would serve as Treasurer. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Commissioner Meehlhause was willing to continue serving as Secretary. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 15-EDA-20 <br />286, Election and Appointing Officers to the Economic Development Authority (EDA). 21 <br /> 22 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 23 <br /> 24 <br />B. Resolution 15-EDA-287, Appointing Members to the Economic Development 25 <br />Commission (EDC) 26 <br /> 27 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the EDA appoint members to the Economic 28 <br />Development Commission. She explained staff received three applications from individuals 29 <br />willing to serve on the EDC. Applications were received from Laurie Shoop, Royal Dahlstrom 30 <br />and Jessica Rieland. After reviewing the applications, she reported the EDC recommended the 31 <br />EDA appoint each of these individuals. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Commissioner Mueller asked if the members leaving the EDC would be recognized. Assistant 34 <br />City Administrator Crane explained that the three retiring members would be recognized at the 35 <br />January 12, 2015 City Council meeting. 36 <br /> 37 <br />President Flaherty was pleased that three individuals have stepped forward and were willing to 38 <br />serve the community. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Commissioner Meehlhause agreed and was pleased that Royal Dahlstrom had found a 41 <br />commission to serve on. 42
