Resolution 13-EDA-280 Approving the Demolition of the Buildings Located 5
at 2400 County Road H2 and 2394 County Road 10. 6
7
Economic Development Specialist Steinmetz stated the Council’s 2013 Priority Statement 8
includes an action step to “consider targeted property acquisition on a case-by-case basis to 9
eliminate blight and to encourage redevelopment and land assembly” along the Highway 10 10
Corridor. Staff recommended the Council discuss the matter in detail and provide direction on 19
how to proceed with the demolition. 20
21
President Flaherty requested information on how the signs would be handled. Economic 22
Development Specialist Steinmetz explained that a business owner in Mounds View has 23
contacted the City and was interested in purchasing one of the signs for $500.
