10-12-09 EDA Meeting <br />Item 7A – Electronic Message Sign <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />Quote – JDI Signs & Graphics <br />Pictured below is JDI Signs & Graphics’s proposed design for updating the electronic <br />message sign panels. JDI quoted a total of $2,397.84 to provide two new Lexan panels <br />and paint the remaining portion of the sign green to match the new City logo. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Design Details <br />If the EDA chooses to proceed with updating the electronic message sign panels, City staff <br />will work with the EDA’s chosen vendor to finalize the design of the panels. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the EDA consider approving the attached Resolution (09-EDA-253) <br />Authorizing JDI Signs & Graphics to Replace the Panels on the Electronic Message Sign <br />Located at City Hall. Staff is suggesting that the EDA use no more than $2,400 of its 2009 <br />“Other Professional Services” budget to pay for this project.
