<br />The changes to the City’s TIF policy fall into two basic types: 1) greater <br />clarification of the purpose of TIF, and 2) cleanup language that makes the policy <br />more consistent with the City’s Tax Rebate (or Abatement) Finance Policy that <br />was revised by the EDA on September 22, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff seeks input from the M.V. Economic Development Authority on the City’s <br />TIF Policy and on proposed changes that may be considered.
