1
City of Mounds View
Code Enforcement Memo
To: Jim Ericson, Community Development Director
From: Jeremiah Anderson, Housing /Code Enforcement Inspector
Date: March 8, 2007
Re: Evaluation of 2617 Sherwood Rd
On Tuesday March 6, 2007 inspector Anderson conducted an evaluation of the single
family detached home at 2617 Sherwood Rd. The scope of the inspection was
documentation of the property’s condition to establish eligibility for the City of Mounds
View Housing Replacement Program.

This dwelling is a vacant 1,300 sq. ft two bedroom home originally constructed in 1938.
An addition to the kitchen area was partially constructed in the late 1990’s. The property
has numerous housing maintenance code violations including but not limited to: Lack of
basic facilities: water; sewer, electricity, and heat; holes in walls; incomplete electrical
wiring, the load center is dismantled; and has missing/removed copper water supply pipe
throughout.

This dwelling is substandard in design, size, construction, and is in a major state of
disrepair. Therefore the property does meet the threshold for eligibility in the City of
Mounds View Housing Replacement Program.
