308303v2 SJR MU205-30 <br /> <br />Medtronic and Clear Channel are negotiating and discussing a “global settlement” which <br />includes swapping Sign No. 6 for Sign No. 2 (require the removal of Sign 6 instead of <br />Sign 2) as well as any issues related to the relocation of other billboards covered in the <br />Agreement, and/or any necessary buyout alternatives. It is the intent of Clear Channel <br />and Medtronic to come to final agreement regarding all billboard issues associated with <br />the Agreement and the Contract within the requested sixty (60) day extension time <br />period. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff has drafted a resolution which acknowledges the City’s and EDA’s consent to a <br />sixty (60) day extension for the removal of the two (2) billboards as set forth in the <br />Acquisition and Relocation Agreement and the Amended and Restated Purchase <br />Agreement and Contract for Private Development. <br /> <br />RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED BY: <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Clerk-Administrator <br />Jim Ericson, Community Development Director <br />Scott J.
