<br />Item No: EDA 6B <br />Meeting Date: May 24, 2004 <br />Type of Business: EDA Business <br />Administrator Review : ____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: President Linke and Members of the Authority <br />From: Jim Ericson, Community Development Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Correct EDA Resolution 04-EDA-186 by Changing the <br />Date of the Requested Public Hearing for the adoption <br />of a Modification to the Development Program for the <br />Mounds View Economic Development Project <br /> <br />Introduction: <br /> <br />Resolution 04-EDA-186, adopted by the Authority on May 10, 2004, requested that the City <br />Council set a public hearing on June 21, 2004 to consider the modification to the <br />Development Program for the Economic Development Program. June 21, 2004 is NOT a <br />scheduled meeting date, which necessitates a correction to the resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the EDA approve a correction to Resolution 04-EDA-186 by changing <br />the date from June 21, 2004 to June 28, 2004. The change of date for the hearing will also <br />need to be corrected at the Council level and a n item has been placed on the Council’s <br />consent agenda to accomplish this. Attached to this report is the revised Timeline which was <br />presented top the EDA on May 10, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Approve the correction to Resolution 04-EDA-186. A new resolution is unnecessary; the <br />correction can be made by motion of the Authority.
