Resolution 04-EDA-186 Requesting that the City Council of the City of 95 <br />Mounds View Call for a Public Hearing for June 21, 2004 on the Proposed 96 <br />Adoption of a Modification to the Development Program for the Mounds 97 <br />View Economic Development Project. 98 <br /> 99 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Approve Resolution 04-EDA-186 Requesting that the 100 <br />City Council of the City of Mounds View Call for a Public Hearing for June 21, 2004 on the 101 <br />Proposed Adoption of a Modification to the Development Program for the Mounds View 102 <br />Economic Development Project. 103 <br /> 104 <br />Vice President Stigney indicated he feels that the City should spend some time identifying 105 <br />parcels for redevelopment rather than amending the plan to include as many parcels as is 106 <br />possible. 107 <br /> 108 <br />Coordinator Backman indicated that it is in the City’s best interest to have as many parcels 109 <br />identified as is possible so that, if the opportunity for redevelopment presents itself, the City is 110 <br />allowed to utilize TIF Funds for the project. 111 <br /> 112 <br />Vice President Stigney indicated that he is concerned about the lack of planning as well as the 113 <br />costs associated with this. 114 <br /> 115 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 1(Stigney) Motion carried. 116 <br /> 117 <br />7.
