RESOLUTION NO. 5921 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO RICH SONTERRE <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rich Sonterre has completed his two-year term as the <br />Mayor of Mounds View, having been elected to serve as Mayor from <br />January 2001 through December of 2002; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to his election to the Mounds View City Council, <br />Mr. Sonterre served two-years on the City’s Parks and Recreation <br />Commission; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his term as Mayor, Mr. Sonterre devoted <br />considerable time working on the City’s behalf with organizations such <br />as the League of Minnesota Cities, National League of Cities and the <br />North Metro I-35W Corridor Coalition; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Sonterre also spent considerable time working <br />with Ramsey County, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and <br />the Minnesota Legislature all on the City’s behalf. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, on behalf of the residents of the City of Mounds <br />View, expresses its appreciation to Rich Sonterre for his contributions <br />to the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 6th day of January, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor Jerry Linke <br /> <br /> <br /> Councilmember Quick Councilmember Stigney <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Councilmember Gunn Councilmember Marty <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> James Ericson <br />Interim City Clerk/Administrator <br />
