JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 98 <br /> 99 <br />Council Member Stigney asked if the charge to fix the speaker was because it was installed 100 <br />backwards on a squad. He then asked if the others were being checked because this is the second 101 <br />one. 102 <br /> 103 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated the charge was for a squad speaker that was installed upside 104 <br />down. He then indicated that the other squads are being checked. 105 <br /> 106 <br />Council Member Stigney asked why the police department purchases yearbooks from Irondale. 107 <br /> 108 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated the Police Department purchases yearbooks in order to have 109 <br />pictures of students on file in case they are needed. 110 <br /> 111 <br />Council Member Stigney asked what the mileage reimbursement to Mayor Sonterre was for. 112 <br /> 113 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated it was mileage reimbursement turned in by the Mayor for the 114 <br />last six months and it included various conferences for a total of 580 miles at 36.5 cents per mile. 115 <br /> 116 <br />Council Member Stigney asked whether it was customary to save up mileage for six months and 117 <br />then submit it and whether there was a policy in place for reimbursement. 118 <br /> 119 <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated it would be preferable to have them turned in promptly but, 120 <br />since this did not go over year-end, there is no harm done. 121 <br /> 122 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Quick.
