Mounds View City Council February 10, 2003 Regular Meeting Page 4 1 Council Member Stigney indicated he had not received all of the applications. 2 3 Mayor Linke indicated applications for those seeking reappointment were not provided. 4 5 Council Member Stigney indicated that in the past, anyone seeking reappointment ne eded to provide an 6 application. 7 8 Mayor Linke indicated he had called each and every one of them and asked if they wanted to be re-9 appointed as it is his philosophy that the application was filled out the first time. 10 11 Council Member Stigney indicated he did not have a problem with it but noted it does conflict with the 12 policy. 13 14 Council Member Marty asked if those seeking reappointment could fill out an application. 15 16 Mayor Linke indicated applications are on file. 17 18 Council Member Stigney asked whether Council had all the applications applying for the Park and 19 Recreation Committee as it was his understanding that there is another individual that applied. 20 21 Mayor Linke indicated he was not aware of any other applications. 22 23 Council Member Marty indicated he had talked to a resident that turned in an application last year and 24 no one knows what happened to it. 25 26 Council Member Quick suggested tabling and advertising for the Park and Recreation Committee 27 opening. 28 29 Council Member Stigney asked if the opening had been posted. 30 31 Mayor Linke indicated the notice has been in the paper but the new opening just came up last week. 32 33 Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated the notice was in the paper indicating there were positions 34 open.
