Summary <br /> <br />The City’s cable budget has allocated $3000 specifically for the purchase of two <br />replacement video decks. This money is not part of the general fund, and has no other <br />financial impact for the city. The current video decks have been unusable for over 4 <br />months and has forced a reduction in playback for the cable department. The further <br />delay in replacing these decks will cause extra wear on the other video decks in trying to <br />compensate for being short-handed. An immediate purchase of 2 new decks will help <br />alleviate this problem. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Item 08C <br />City Council Meeting <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Recommendation: Staff recommends the purchase of one Sony DSR-11 Digital Video <br />Deck from B&H for $2021.50 and one JVC SR-V10U from ProFeel for $282.90.
