RESOLUTION NO. 5986 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A STEP INCREASE FOR JOHN HUGHES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John Hughes is a regular full-time employee who began <br />working full-time for the City of Mounds View on July 13, 2000; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes is a member of the Public Works Collective <br />Bargaining Unit, and as such, is subject to the job classification system as <br />established in the Labor Agreement with the City of Mounds View; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes is currently assigned to a Step 2 pay scale, which <br />is currently established at $14.06 per hour; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes qualifies for Step 3 pay scale, which is currently <br />established at $14.77 per hour; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes’ work performance has been rated satisfactory or <br />higher by his supervisor; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes’ supervisor recommends that the City Council <br />approve a wage adjustment from Step 2 to Step 3. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve a step increase for John Hughes from Step 2 <br />($14.06/hr) to Step 3 ($14.77/hr) effective April 14, 2003. <br /> <br />Presented this 14th Day of April 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
