He further indicated that 1 <br />the new garage would be 1,148 square feet. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that the Planning Commission reviewed the 4 <br />application and it meets all requirements including the 20% threshold for rear yards and noted 5 <br />that the existing shed would be removed and no other accessory buildings would be allowed on 6 <br />the property. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that one additional stipulation had been added to 9 <br />this Resolution to require that the property owner ensure that overhead power lines maintain the 10 <br />proper clearance from the roof of the garage and the property owner has indicated he has no issue 11 <br />with the requirements. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that Staff and the Planning Commission 14 <br />recommend approval of this request. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 7:19 p.m. 17 <br /> 18 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. Public Hearing and Consideration of Resolution No. 6042 Approving the 25 <br />Preliminary Feasibility Report and Ordering the County Road H Sidewalk 26 <br />Improvement 27 <br /> 28 <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing at 7:20 p.m. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Public Works Director Lee reviewed the schedule for this project, summarized the comments 31 <br />from the forms that were sent out as well as comments from the public meeting and asked that, 32 <br />after taking public testimony, Council provide direction to Staff on how to proceed with the 33 <br />project. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Public Works Director Lee reviewed the schedule for the project should it be approved. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Mayor Linke asked residents to be concise with their comments to avoid unnecessary duplication 38 <br />and save time. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Angela Olson of 5046 Longview Drive addressed Council and indicated she was speaking in 41 <br />opposition to the sidewalk because she would lose her hedges that have been there for more than 42 <br />40 years. She further commented that with the current budget issues the City does not need to 43 <br />increase the budget for snow removal and upkeep of another sidewalk. 44 <br /> 45
