To Approve Consent Agenda Items A, B, C, D, G, H, I, J, 15 <br />K, L, M, and P as Presented. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he would like to have the City take extra steps other than 20 <br />the required minimum notice to inform residents that the City is considering amending its 21 <br />Ordinance to allow a 2:00 a.m. bar closing. 22 <br /> 23 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Gunn. To Direct Staff to Place Notice on the Water Bill and 24 <br />Request Input From Residents on the 2:00 a.m. Closing. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Council Member Marty asked when the next water bill would go out. He then said that there has 27 <br />been notice on the City’s website and the City has received some feedback on the issue. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Council Member Quick asked if it has been on the sign. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that it has been scrolling on the cable channel, Staff 32 <br />posted notice with the Bulletin, and it is on the website. He then said that Staff has gotten many 33 <br />responses from an email that was sent out to those whose email address the City has. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated he felt that the water bill would inform more residents. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Council Member Quick indicated that approximately 45% of the City does not get a water bill 38 <br />because they live in apartments or the manufactured home park. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he would like to use the water bill to solicit input from 41 <br />residents because it would notify at least half of the City. He also said he would like to have 42 <br />Staff post notice at the apartment buildings and manufactured home parks to reach those 43 <br />residents. 44 <br /> 45
