PUBLIC INPUT 27 <br /> 28 <br />Tom Field of 8409 Knollwood Drive addressed Council and indicated that the manhole in his 29 <br />front yard was buried because the former Public Works Director deemed it unnecessary and there 30 <br />were issues with plowing but now there is talk of digging it up and making it functional for sewer 31 <br />maintenance and he would like Council to consider leaving it as it is because he does not want it 32 <br />in his front yard. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Mayor Linke suggested that Mr. Field meet with Public Works Director Lee to discuss the 35 <br />matter. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Council Member Quick indicated he would like Public Works Director Lee to address the 38 <br />Council on the issue. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that as part of the NPDES permit the City has to clean the 41 <br />storm sewer system and the only way to access some areas is to go through the manholes and as 42 <br />part of the program Staff is finding that several are buried and they will need to be brought up to 43 <br />grade for future use. 44 <br /> 45
