CORRECTED RESOLUTION NO. 6091 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing Certification of the Proposed General Fund Budget and <br />Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2004 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, current State Statute requires cities to certify a proposed budget and <br />tax levy to the county auditor; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, guidelines established by the Commissioner of Revenue require <br />certification to occur on or before September 15, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Revenue has certified Local Government Aid and <br />Market Value Credits payable in 2004. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View that the proposed budget for the General Fund for fiscal year 2004 is <br />$4,669,495. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed 2004 base property tax levy is <br />$2,832,903 and the proposed2004 special levies are $74,353 for a total net property tax <br />levy of $2,907,256. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these <br />amounts to the Ramsey County Auditor. <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd Day of September 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL)
