<br />RESOLUTION 6130 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING ELECTION RESULTS OF THE <br />NOVEMBER 4, 2003 GENERAL ELECTION <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a general election was held November 4, 2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the results of this election are as follows: <br /> <br />City Question 1: Shall the Mounds Vie City Council authorize an additional <br />property tax levy for the purpose of providing funds to add two patrol officers to <br />the Mounds View Police Department? <br /> <br />The maximum amount of the increased levy is .021% of the taxable market value <br />of property in the city. The amount of taxes that would be raised in the first year <br />of the increased property tax levy is approximately $143,317.00. <br /> <br />Yes: 1563 <br />No: 1015 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Police <br />Referendum is certified as being passed to increase the levy up to a maximum <br />amount of .021% of the taxable market value of property in the city, to add two <br />patrol officers to the Mounds View Police Department. <br /> <br />Adopted this 10th day of November, 2003 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: _______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />_______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
