RESOLUTION NO. 6144 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW OFFICIAL 2004 <br />MEETING CALENDAR FOR THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 412.191 requires that City Councils set an official <br />calendar for Council Meetings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City’s Charter states that the City Council shall meet regularly at <br />least twice monthly as they may designate by ordinance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 105 of the Mounds View City Code states that regular <br />meetings of the City Council shall be held on the second and fourth Monday of every month <br />at 7:00 p.m.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has traditionally scheduled Work Sessions on the first <br />Monday of the month; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City’s Code further state that if that Monday is a legal holiday the <br />meeting shall be canceled or held on another date and time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, July 5, 2004 and September 6, 2004, are legal holidays falling on a <br />Monday that would otherwise be a regularly scheduled Council meeting date; in <br />accordance with the City Code, these meetings dates have been rescheduled to the <br />following July 6, 2004, and September 7, 2004. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby establish the Official City of Mounds View City Council Meeting Calendar for the <br />year 2004 as shown in Exhibit A and that unless otherwise posted, all City Council <br />meetings are to begin at 7:00 pm. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of December, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL)
