Permit Required: Before proceeding with the construction, enlargement, <br />alteration, repair, moving, improvement, removal, conversion or demolition of <br />any building or structure, the owner or agent shall first obtain a permit for <br />such purpose from the Building Inspector. Upon the recommendation of the <br />Clerk-Administrator, the Council shall designate all work for which permits <br />shall be required under this provision of the Code. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Exceptions: A building permit and permit fee shall not be required for any <br />work having a valuation less then three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00), <br />except for the following, which will require a permit regardless of the <br />valuation of the work: (Ord. 508, 4-27-92) <br /> <br /> a. Any proposed work that will create new structural framework, alter <br />existing structural framework or cause the use or occupancy of any existing <br />building.
