Mounds View City Council January 7, 2002 <br />Special Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />City Administrator Miller indicated that it was her understanding that the greens were covered. <br /> <br />Council Member Thomas commented that the money being brought in by remaining open with <br />the artificial greens was 1/5 of the operating budget to keep the course running. <br /> <br />David Jahnke of 8428 Eastwood Road stated that he agreed with the comments of Mr. Mendoza <br />and said he hopes a lesson was learned on that one. <br /> <br />Mr. Jahnke then commented that he had just read about the issues surrounding the Mayor in St. <br />Croix and said, while he is not comparing that situation to this, he hopes that this Council will <br />make employees and elected officials accountable for their actions. <br /> <br />Mr. Jahnke indicated he did not feel it was right for city employees to be using the public works <br />garage for personal work such as washing cars and making repairs and asked Council to make <br />sure that is not happening. <br /> <br />5. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />Council recessed to a closed session at 7:35 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 8:02 p.m. <br /> <br />6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7.
