RESOLUTION NO. 5731 <br />APPROVING THE CONTRACT AWARD FOR THE 2002 TREE REMOVAL <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, annually bids are received to perform tree removal as needed <br />throughout the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this service was budgeted for in 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a total of four bids were received, bidding on two categories: with <br />vehicle access and without vehicle access; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the low bidder was Precision Tree Service in the amount of <br />$10.50/diameter inch for trees with vehicle access; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the low bidder was Miller Tree Service in the amount of <br />$15.50/diameter inch for trees without vehicle access; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve an annual contract to expire December 31, 2002, with Precision Tree <br />Service in the amount of $10.50/diameter inch for trees with vehicle access. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve an annual contract to expire December 31, 2002, with <br />Miller Tree Service in the amount of $15.50/diameter inch for trees without vehicle <br />access. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of March 2002. <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kathleen F.
