RESOLUTION NO. 8999 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ADOPTING A MODIFICATION TO SECTIONS 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, AND 2.5.5 OF THE <br />CITY'S PURCHASING POLICY <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to maintain a purchasing policy that is up-to-date with <br />Minnesota State Statutes, administratively efficient, and cost effective; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota statute 471.345 was amended by the legislature to <br />increase the threshold for sealed bid requirements from $100,000 to $175,000; and <br />WHEREAS, the policy in sections 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5.5 on uniform municipal <br />contracting would need to be modified to reflect this amendment in addition to increases <br />in the threshold for small purchases; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed changes and wishes to <br />include the modifications in the City's purchasing policy. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the City's purchasing policy, sections 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5.5 are amended as <br />indicated in the attached policy. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 13th day of August 2018. <br />Carol A.
