Item 6C-Resolution 5768 <br /> City Council Meeting <br /> May 13, 2002 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5768 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> Resolution 5768 Approving Severance for Patrick Toth <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Patrick Toth has resigned from his position with the City of <br />Mounds View effective April 30, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 4.35D: Separation Compensation of the City’s <br />personnel manual indicates that an employee will be compensated for accrued vacation <br />time and 50% of sick leave upon separation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 100% of accrued and unused vacation time is 19.08hrs x <br />$14.65/hr=$279.52, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 50% of accrued and unused sick leave (60.59 hrs x 50%) = <br />30.30 hrs x $14.65/hr=$443.90 <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council approves a one-time payout of accrued and unused vacation time and 50% of <br />sick leave in the amount of $723.42 to Patrick Toth. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 13th day of May, 2002. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kathleen F.
