RESOLUTION NO. 5814 <br />AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE WELL NUMBER 2 <br />BUILDING EXTERIOR RESTORATION PROJECT <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is an identified need to perform minor maintenance to <br />the exterior to Well Number 2 and the Booster Station; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is important from a cost savings standpoint to address such <br />maintenance needs as soon as they are identified; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a maintenance project for the exterior of Well Number 2 and <br />the Booster Station was included in the 2002 budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the only responsive bid was received from Trowel Services <br />Incorporated in the amount of $6,300.00. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the bid of Trowel Services Incorporated in the amount of <br />$6,300.00 for the Well Number 2 Building Exterior Restoration <br />Project is the only responsive bid. <br /> <br />2. That a contract to perform said work is awarded to Trowel Services <br />Incorporated and that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of August 2002. <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kathleen F.
