These maintenance <br />problems include: <br /> <br />1. The current equipment misfeeds paper; <br />2. The current equipment does not broadcast to numerous locations properly; <br />3. The current equipment is very slow in transmitting information; <br />4. It is becoming difficult for Staff to find replacement parts or other supply <br />items for the current machine. <br />5. There is not sufficient memory for the City’s needs (the current machine <br />can only broadcast 10 pages at a time). <br /> <br />The following are three quotes from fax machine dealer. <br /> <br />AMERICAN OFFICE SUPPLY $550.00 (this does not include shipping <br />and handling) <br />OFFICE DEPOT $499.99 (free shipping and handling) <br />OFFICE MAX $499.98 (free shipping and handling) <br /> <br />Recommendation: Staff recommends the purchase of the Brother IntelliFax 4750e <br />from Office Max for $499.98.
