<br />RESOLUTION NO. 5724 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW APPOINTMENTS TO <br />COMMISSIONS POLICY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has discussed this item on a number <br />of occasions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2.02 of the City Charter states that the City Council may <br />establish by Ordinance Boards or Commissions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Code does establish various Commissions be appointed by <br />the Mayor with approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the value in formalizing the process by <br />which these Commissioners are appointed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized staff to draft a Policy for purposes of <br />formalizing the process by which appointments are made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby approve the attached City of Mounds View Appointments to Commissions <br />Policy. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11th day of March, 2002. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kathleen F.
